Courses

Course in simple terms corresponds to one Paper under a particular 'Subject'. Multiple subjects constitute a programme of study the courses should define learning objectives and learning outcomes. A course may be designed to comprise of lectures/tutorials/ laboratory-work/field-work/ outreach-activities/ dissertation/project- work/vocational training/ seminars/ assignments/presentations etc., or a combination of some of them. Courses in a programme of study may be of 08 (Eight) types viz.

• Discipline Specific Core (DSC)
• Discipline Specific Minor (DSM)
• Interdisciplinary Course (IDC)
• Ability EnhancementCourse (AEC)
• Skill Enhancement Course (SEC)
• Value Added Course (VAC)
• Dissertation/ Project
• Intership
